Nice dinner in Milan

Some days ago, I decided to go to dinner with a friend of mine at the restaurant Clandestino at Maison Moschino in Milan, Italy. The chef Moreno Cedroni started his activity in 1984 cooking traditional see foods and pizzas in a little restaurant on Senigallia Beach, Italy. 11 years later, he had success with Italian sushi at the Clandestino Sushi Bar in Portonovo, Italy and then he started his activity at Maison Moschino in Milan. Clandestino serves unusual creations based on fresh products: pasta, meat, seafood accompanied by Italian and French wines and fruit liqueurs.
For my dinner, I choose to start with a soft drink called Dafne (with pomegranate, rose water and raspberry) with a variable number of samples like rice chips, raw tuna, tomatoes and rice, sushi and chicken marinated with ginger and soy sauce. Then I choose the so called ‘tuna game’ (bresaola, ham, tataki, streaky) accompanied by focaccia bread, ciabatta bread, bread with squid ink, white bread and swivel with squid ink, wholemeal bread sticks with various seeds, crackers with capers and seeds. After that, I choose charred scallops with mashed potatoes with extra virgin olive oil emulsified. The dessert was the so callerd ‘Funny’: violet ice cream, mousse, raspberry, currant and spice streusel.
I like both the food and the venue so much!
